Hey Tribe!

Greetings from Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas, where Jessy Marie and I are currently still in bed enjoying some "breakfast beers" by Kalik. (Don't judge). We figured we'll wait until at least noon to break out the Metal Spirits Vodka for some screwdrivers with some of our new Tribe!

Metal Spirits is available in the U.S. only at this point so the Bahamas will have to wait. However, this is the land of rum and there is plenty of great rum to be found here. This is also the land of pirates and pirate lore. We love pirates so we checked out the local pirate museum. Depending on your view, the actual pirates of the Caribbean were either villains or heroes.

Given how the pirates were treated as military or merchant ship sailors, their pirate code of conduct (yes, each ship had one and we saw one rule that stated if any man assaulted a woman, they would be hanged - good on 'em), the fact that they stole from the governments that stole from the people and plundered other countries, we tend to think of these pirates more as heroes. We also think they would've been in our Tribe and drank our spirits. I mean the bottle alone screams pirate!

Believe it or not, we're actually doing more than drinking and growing our Tribe. We've also eaten some great food too. Ha! Kidding. We've hiked about 15 miles our first two days and got in plenty of swimming and sunshine. We plan on some parasailing, jet skiing, horseback riding as well. More updates and pics forthcoming with next week's Tribal update. In the meantime, it's Kalik time and a lay in.
